Who are SorryMate?
‘Born bikers, learned to be lawyers.’ Sorrymate are a team of specialist biker-lawyers who have many years of experience in dealing with all types of motorcycle accident claims. Unlike most law firms they also have many years riding experience too. As bikers themselves they understand how stressful an accident can be for you and your family and aim to achieve the best results possible for all parties involved.
Why SorryMate?
They have seen many cases over the years which have been handled poorly by other law firms with a staggering 25% of their clients transferring from their previous solicitors. In fact, this was the reason Sorrymate was created. We represent the biking community. We care about you and your bike.
Injuries can be life changing for you and your family. Family is too often missed; stress and strains can take its toll and the family can be affected. Having the right team to guide you through the process can take a lot of the stress away right from the off.
People are often afraid to talk to a solicitor in fear it will cost them a fortune. We are people just like you who have a family and love our motorbikes. We’ve unfortunately had accidents too, and so can guide you through the process from start to finish with a dedicated no win, no fee policy and no upfront costs either.
SorryMate Promise:
- A dedicated solicitor
- No win, no fee
- Motorcycle repairs
- Tempory bike hire
- Damaged gear recovery
- A firm you can trust
Who is the Air Ambulance?
Yorkshire Air Ambulance is an independent charity providing a lifesaving rapid response emergency service to 5 million people across the whole of Yorkshire. Their mission is: To provide, deliver and develop with integrity, transparency and pride, state-of-the-art emergency response air ambulances for the protection of human life across Yorkshire and its environs.
To keep both of their Air Ambulances maintained and, in the air, they need to raise £12,000 every single day, which is the equivalent of £4.4m a year. The generosity that we receive really is the life blood of our charity.
SorryMate’s partnership with the Yorkshire air ambulance:
We deliberated over many charities and after much thought and consultation with lots of bikers, we decided upon Air Ambulances.
RTC motorcycle accidents are one of the most common that the Air Ambulance Service respond to. Unfortunately, the air ambulance charities do not have any support from the government and rely heavily on the generosity of the public & organisations to keep the service active. We are proud to support the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and Essex & Herts Air Ambulance.
How are SorryMate raising money?
Sorrymate and the 1964 Marshals associations are proud supports of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Both organisations raise money all year round for the charity however they want to raise more. So, the idea came about to build a Yorkshire Air Ambulance race bike which will be raffled off to raise vital funds. All proceeds will go to Yorkshire Air Ambulance at the ned of the year.
The first prize is the track bike. It started life as an ex-race bike and over the last 6 months it’s been transformed in to the race tuned beauty you see next to Yorkshire Air Ambulance. It now shares the colours and some of the graphics so we think it looks the part! In addition, they’re asking celebrity riders and racers to autograph the bike over the next few months before it then gets lacquer coated.
They have also received donations of (so far) full race leathers, a track day, tyre warmers and power washer and we hope to add more prizes as the year progresses.
So how can you help?
To be in with a chance of winning this beauty of a machine and helping to support the great work done by the Air Ambulance charity Sorrymate are selling raffle tickets costing just £2.00 with all monies going straight in the pockets of the charity, no dodgy taxes or payment fees being deducted.
