Apex Ground Anchor

The Apex Ground Anchor provides a secure fixing point to be used in conjunction with a chain or D lock in order to secure your motorbike, scooter, trailer etc to. It can be fitted to concrete floor or concrete/brick walls. It is secured in place by 4 counter sunk sleeve anchors with 4 ball bearings knocked into the bolt heads which can not be removed once installed. Fixing kit and instructions included.

The Apex ground anchor is used as an anchor point for securing your chain through it. This will allow you to pass the chain through your bike and using a padlock you can physically secure your bike to a set location.
The Apex ground anchor is secured into the floor using 4 x M10 shield anchors with a counter sunk Allen key bolt. Once installed a ball bearing is inserted into the head of the bolt in order to stop tampering and removal.
Yes, the Apex ground anchor can be secured into a brick wall. The brick must be undamaged and we’d suggest lining the anchoring holes of the Apex ground anchor in the centre of the brick. The Apex ground anchor is not suitable for breeze block or tarmac.
We do not recommend installing your Apex ground anchor into tarmac flooring as the substrate is crumbly and soft. Over time with use, it is likely the Apex ground anchor will become unsecure.

The Apex ground anchor is fully MIG welded across the join between the base plate and top plate. MIG welding uses a continuous solid wire electrode heated and fed into the weld pool to form the join.
We powder coat the Apex ground anchor which gives it a coloured finish and helps to reduce rust.
